We had a couple boats out mostly on the West side, fished a lot of areas, weeds-rocks etc... Never saw a fish. Fished metro on Sunday, bout the same minus a short fish. I realize conditions weren't ideal, but ouch, not even a sniff...
For me, Saturday was a day I live for on Mille Lacs...sunny, warm, mild winds, lotsa fish, good friends, stoggies and a couple of barley pops!
We ended up catching 22 fish for our 8 hr effort. Biggest was a VERY health 28"er (haven't seen a fish like that in a while with shoulders like that). We were able to box 6 fish.
Spent all of our time up on the northern mud rigging mostly with no one else around us.
