With everybody chompin' at the bit to get out on the ice, myself included, I thought I'd post this video. I just couldn't sit and watch all that nice ice fishin'weather go to waste. We ended up with 5 fish. All caught from 4:00 to 5:30.
Specific locations---- I have fished the sand break many times. down by malmo and in front of the red door and also right in front of the beach. Is there any specific location that people like more than another. Any luck on the transition locations from sand to rock/gravel. Is there any specific depth that one should shy away from... Just looking to get a game plan in mind before i head up there friday.

I finally made it up yesterday! I lost the biggest walleye of my life, through the ice, I fought it for about 12 minutes. I had it up by the hole three times. The first two times it ran right back to the bottom. When I got it up the third time it bent two of the hooks on the treble straight. Caught for other ones, a perch and a couple toulipees. Had a lot of followers. One followed all the way up till I spooked it when I looked down the hole.
Finally got up to the mighty mille lacs. Got fishing about 2pm. fished till 5 then headed back to the cabin. just up the shore. caught 2 walleyes that were over 19 inches. heading back out first light tomorrow..
