It’s the third week in October and the walleye’s are still bitting! Our guests at The Red Door Resort have been enjoying some great fall fishing. The fish are getting caught right out front along the shoreline on Knox Point and along the shoreline to the west. The activity in the fish cleaning shack continues to tell the true story. Many fisherman have been heading home with their limits of walleye. The fish are being caught on shad raps and stick baits. The past few days have been really windy and on the cold side. But looking ahead, the weekend looks like a nice weekend to make a trip up to the lake. Water temperatures have been dropping down into the lower 50's.
Can't wait to get there on Friday!! What depth and speed are producing? I am hearing 12' or less at around 1.8mph for the evening but I have not heard anything for the day times? My buddys love their slip bobbers but its toough to cover a lot of ground with the anchor down....

Can't make it all the way to Knox Point, Bobber, but I'll just bet they'll be right out front of your place there on Peterson (Piccard) Point. We're gonna light 'er up out there tonight. I'll let you know how it goes............
