The activity in the fish cleaning shack has been improving. Which only means one thing, the fishing success is picking up! The reports have been good over the past few weeks around the Red Door Resort. Our customers have been catching walleye’s on small crank baits out in 26-30 fow with lead core. Reports are also coming from shallow rocks during the dark of night right out front of the resort along Knox Point. Trolling shad raps and minnow baits have been putting fish in the boat for some trollers. The week before the full moon and the week after is prime time for catching walleye.

The October full moon is coming up in just a few short days. This month of October its on the 11^th. Look for some dandy fish to be caught with the camera flash going off in the darkness! Its fall trolling at its best! Good luck and have some fun!
