Thursday evening took the wife and kids out bobbering for a few hours managed a mixed bag of walleye and jumbos. Daughter caught her biggest to date (24 incher) that was fun. We started on a rockpile north of Hunters and ended on some deeper water off of big point.
Saturday had a friendly competition with 3 other boats. I managed the big fish prize with a 28.25 incher. We brought in a nice limit of eaters as well. We fished the morning by 2 mile and the afternoon in the mud. A goofball in a Ranger decided to cut in front of us at the public launch by liberty.... we were on the trailer first though (amateurs....)
Sunday fished around 2 mile again for a few hours before heading home. 3 keepers and a few bonus perch. Same Ranger cut me off (WTH?) I know this lake attracts all kinds but really same guy twice??
Two wonderful fish fry's during the weekend as well. Good times!
