My sister Nancy and I got out fishing last night and the action was fast and furious. We boated around 30 fish between 6:45 and 9:15pm. Many where in the 12-13" range with only one over fish 18.5". We had no problem filling the box with 16-18" fish in 15ft of rock bobber fishing. The bite seem to be best under cloud cover with multiple doubles going as soon as the clouds covered the sun. Once the sun went down it really went. Using #6 chartrusse moon glows again from Jr's Tackle. Went thru lots of leeches with short bites from those smaller fish. What a blast
Had the pro hero head cam on. Take a look.
6/11 Fishing
Nancy and I went out again tonight with my niece and nephew Rachel and Travis.
Fishing was a little slower with only 3 keepers. Travis boxed those 3 and we did have a good amount of smaller fish under 13". Only one over at 22" caught by Nancy.
Wind direction and speed was the big change from the previous night. Thats what i am gonna blame the slower fishing on.
I have an evening trip scheduled for tonite......might need to take over your spot and catch some of those fish! another nice job on the video........Nancy! sure got the fish catching down!
D, maybe I could use the Pro hero tonite for some of my own video?
You may have to go Hollywood now as a web media star and pro fisherwoman. WOW. Good job., It must be the good luck from that Amaretto de Sarona from MM, EH? (Ha,ha).
Nice fishing trip. All in two hours. cool.
Malmo Mike will be home in 10 days. I wil be out there with the bobber no doubt.\
My 10 year old daughter, Claire, and I did pretty good Friday night as well. We boated around 20 walleyes with 6 going in the box. We were fishing bobbers in 16 fow off of big point.
Friday evening was crazy. Couldnt keep the lines in the water. From what I see everyone had good luck. That is wonderful! Nothing better than watching the cork go down!
