I have a Marcum 380 that I just got this season and the battery sucks. The screen shrinks after 3-4 hours of use and really doesn't seem to be great. I called the place where I bought it and they said I could return it. Any suggestions? I know most won't work at all after dark but looking for a quality camera.

I bring a full size battery with. Pig tail wire w/clips. Lasts all weekend.
I use an Aqua View Scout.. I also bring a Full size Interstate battery with... power is never an issue. Although, i am leaning towards the camera bothering walleyes, when I have at closer than 8 feet of my rig. Perch don't care, but I think the eyes don't like it.
Yea i have a scout as well and power is never really a problem, but i agree with glen I dont like to use my camera much because i think it might bother the eyes a little. Its fun to watch all the little perch though, they dont seem to be bothered by it. I have had a big northern try to take my camera though!
So I took back the Marcum VS380 and got the Marcum VS620. The 620 last 2 hours before water got into the camera and it shorted out . Took it back and got the Vexilar. It worked great this weekend and the battery life is awesome. I used it for about 12 hours and still had 50% left on it. Mille Lacs is too dark for the color to work but it did work great.
