There is 10 - 14 inches of ice.  There is a pressure ridge about 300 yards off shore that is bridged.  Ice is still shifting, but we began pulling rentals yesterday and will finish those today.  We will access the ice after that and make decision on when we wil pull privates.  Most likely this weekend, but if so probally ATV and snowmobile traffic only.  Scott

does hunters generally run the roads in the same position year after year? i understand it all depends on pressure ridges and larger cracks but i was just wondering. thanks...

THE ROADS ARE OFFICIALLY OPEN !! At 2:00 p.m. this afternoon we opened our access to open traffic. The roads are in good shape so please be respectful and adhere to the requested speed limit of 10 mph. As always travel is at your own risk. Those that speed are at more risk of danger for themselves and the roads. Ac...cess to 3 Mile, 2 Mile, Liberty, Dawson, Slys, and the Flats and more! SEE YOU THIS WEEKEND!

Got get 'em Jon. Have fun.
Man you guys were busy today (Sautrday) -- you all did a heckuva job.
Wish I was there right now with my nice ice fishing rods and lures -- I am ready to go and I have the walleye fever real bad.

Malmo Mike is checking in with a bad case of walleye fever.
There is only one cure:
...go to Hunter's and fish 2 mile. Works for me.

Go Get 'em Jon!
Go Vikes in the MNF Snow Bowl tonight.
