Thanks! Saturday was a great day. We stuck to our game plan and everything came together. At 1:00, with 6 fish in the box, we boated a 17.75" walleye and at 1:05 we got another one about the same size. There was no question that we were boxing it and calling it a day early. We were able to take it easy on the way in and stop a few times to keep the fish in the livewell happy.

The bite on saturday was just crazy. Everyone was catching fish. I cant remeber when you literally had to fish a one inch slot to have a chance (17+). The weights are nerve racking when they are so close. Terry and I were throwing 16s back at will and looking at each other like we were nuts! Sunday was a tougher bite, but they seemed to really turn on in the afternoon again.
Good job Fife on staying diciplined enough to wait for the good ones, and kudos to those that went in early when they boxed #8. They are playing by the rules.
It was a fun weekend of fishing. We actually caught more fish Sunday, but most of them were too big. Those fish really did go crazy at the end. I think we caught about 10 in the last hour and boxed 3. Another half an hour and we might have made the money.
Rick, there was once on Saturday and once on Sunday where I marked a school of fish you guys were heading towards. I wasn't about to jump infront of you, but I told my Dad to watch and see if you guys got one. Both times you guys didn't disappoint as they both resulted in a double. The one on Sunday was about at the end of fishing time, but it looked like one fish was small and the other was too big.

I appreciate your courtesy! One of them on Sunday was like 17.9999999 inches long and we were trying to make ouselves believe it was a keeper, but we came back to reality and tossed it after drifting in amazement! I'm sure that one was a DQ fish! I got a 27 incher on the NE corner, but I cant remember if you were still sitting there.
We had 6 in the box toward the end on Sunday and were praying to get two more over 17 before we had to go. We got one at 305 and had to get going with that rain storm because, as you know, its like driving through a hail of shot gun pellets in a tiller boat at 48 MPH.
I cant believe how much those fish scattered on Sunday.....
