About 5 years ago I wrote a letter to Dennis Anderson from the Star Tribune. Of course there was nothing printed or a comment back from him. I said if the DNR was to create a Mille Lacs walleye stamp at a cost of 3 to 5 dollars. They could take that money and purchase tribal communities quota of what that individual caught the year prior. Or a portion of the quota. For a fee of twice the going rate of a pound of fillets on the open market. It could be a win win situation for all parties.
