Its good to hear that they won't be inforcing this until 2011, so people have time to get the proper licenses.

Why is this all of the sudden an issue.  I always carry a good insurance policy for passengers (whoever they are), and have let my agent know that I occasionally carry passengers for hire.  I have yet to see the Coast Guard conducting manuevers on Mille Lacs.  Shouldn't this be more of a commercial type issue.  What does this mean for all the launch businesses on Mille Lacs, Winnie, LOTW, etc?

I really think that this is far from "over"

This article that I posted is the first one that has made it to print in weeks.

There are a number of conversations going on with phone calls and emails!!!
