Getting ready for open water!

If you have some time to kill on one of these cold, snowy weekends. Or even sitting in the shack waiting for the rattle wheel to start singing.  Never too early to get the spinners tied up for summer.

One take, no editing.  Hope you might find some pointers useful.  Enjoy.

I tie them at about 8 feet.  Shorten as needed.

Hey Jon,
thanks for posting the great video!

I don't know how many times I have customers ask about how I make up my spinners. I like the 10lb XT Trilene also! tuff stuff.....handles multiple catches without a break/cut-off!!!

Once you start tying your own stuff, you will never go back to store bought stuff.  So much more satisfying catching fish on rigs you tie up yourself!

That Red XT will be interesting!

Good Job on the video. My Dad is tying up some to-night for the first time.
