Another tough weekend for the anglers on the SE side of the lake. The NE continued to produce fish although you had to work for them as well. The perch and walleye down here by Hennepin were far and few between - a couple keepers were caught out of the houses and for those that moved around, they managed to find a few more. We really need the sun to come up and the temperature to hang around the 30s. When that snow starts to melt, the larva at the bottom of the lake should perk up and help out our bite.

Meanwhile, people are still setting up for the sunnies and crappies. We did talk to a couple people targeting them and they caught a few. Those fishing 8-12 ft found some of those fish. Again, a warmup is needed to help the activity here as well.

Anyone have better luck on the NW side vs the SE side - or visa versa?
