I don't know about any recall on them. I have heard of problems with the recoil on the motor head. I am sure that Strikemaster will get this problem taken care of and will continue to supply the top of the line products that they have always had!
One thing that Strikemaster has always been known for is their customer service......none better!!
I have had the opportunity to cut some holes with the new Solo.....
and let me tell ya " they are a hole cuttin machine" !!!
I purchased a Strikemaster Lazer Mag just before Christmas and have used it three times - OK twice. My recoil went out yesterday after one pull out on the flats. One of those times I was glad to see other fisherman around and thanks to whoever let me use their Lazer Pro. I spoke to Strikemaster while I was on the lake and they offered to resolve the issue in any way - short of bringing me a new one out to the flats.
As for fishing, one of my best trips this year. I was lucky enough to keep four 17 inch slots and released a number of smaller and bigger fish - the biggest being 27.
