My first post ever! Since I have no family to spend Christmas with, had plenty of free time to do my favorite thing, and trust me, I wasn't to disappointed about it. Fished the Northwest corner around Mir Mar on the rock transitions, in 16 feet. Let me tell you, I've never hammered them like that before. Walleye and Jumbos. Left with both limits. I fished for about 5 hours each each evening. That wram front was everything you could hope for to turn things on. I hit 32 walleyes, ranging from 14 inches to 26. Unreal! There were moments were it was like when you get into sunfish really good, just one after another.....but waldo's! Like all of us, I've had my monents good and bad, but this trip was one of the best. You guys try and leave some in that lake for me for when I get back.

Sounds like the Fish Santa was good to you even though you spent Christmas alone. Some of the Christmas gatherings I've been at I would changed places with you in a heartbeat. I've had fishing like that once in my life 8 years ago on the same end of the lake. Thanks for the info.
Red Flying Rattlers with a minow head in the one hole, a live crappie minnow in the other. Most of them came on the rattler. Never had a reason to try anything else cause they killing it. When the lights went out I'd glow it up with my light. As soon as it hit the bottom they'd come running for it. Some were finicky. Just had to work them a little.
Way to go Dude... I have had a few days on Mille Lacs like that myself -- and it really gets you pumped up -- then it really keeps you coming back if the bite is tough or slow. Keep up the good work. Thanks for the tip on the Red Flying Rattlers ...Cool. have fun, Malmo Mike
