Cause the bar and food is awsome , the staff is so good to all of us . George and linda really go the extra mile to make everything so great wether you have a seasonal site to the guy who comes up to rent a spot for the weekend (ive been both ). In the winter all the roads are always well takin care of and safe, the lake guys really do a great job .And if u need anything , just stop in the bar and jason can usually make it happen . And in the summer its always so great there we have alot fun , for me its like going to the lake every weekend with my family , there is always so many fun people to hang out with and do some great fishing with and realax . It all because of all the great staff at Hunters point that make that happen .

I took my 7 year old up to hunters as I have loved fishing the east side - heard great things about the crew at hunters. So I tried it June 2009 it was awesome as my son put it, being one adult with a child I was a bit aprehensive fishing the big pond, Jason , George and the gang helped us out soooo much it was unreal!!! I can not say enough great things - clean, great food, family is welcome, new guys are made to feel welcome, anything they can do to help you they wil. You will not be dissapointed -
I grew up on Mille Lacs lake east side in Malmo Bay where we have two lake shore homes; my brothers and I spend a lot of time on the lake -- summer and winter. Hunter's is the best all around resort: for fishing especially, food and drink and their events. Everyone does a nice job. Ron (the owner) at Carlsona beach is also a very good guy and serves very good food and bar service. But he does not work the fishing business. That is my two cents worth; Hunter's is the best resort on the east side. We have many friends who also chose Hunter Point for this reason. Malmo Bay Mike have fun catch Walleyes.
I am a year round user of my house. How big are "most" of the summer lots. I am asking cause I have a lab( my bird dogs) and a second on order,, that fish with me and I don't what to ruin other peoples weekend cause my dog thinks every one is his freind and wants to play.
