When do the May Flys hatch and for how long in June are they around?

I would say any day now.... I had 2 loners yesterday afternoon, so they have to be close. Typically they last less than 2 weeks, from what I can recall.

Are they there?  I wonder if I should postpone my trip on the bike tonight.

Saturday night, they were doing the fly-out by the millions, toward the center of the lake. They weren't landing on anyone or the boat..... but they were doing fly-bys...

Yes, the flies were doing  the "fly-by."  I ended up going up to the Pond but didn't ride the bike just in case.  As it turns out, it wasn't that bad.  While fishing, I could hear the buzzing but didn't really have that many land on the boat.
