Does anyone own this book? How is it overall? I was going to buy it, but it was a bit of a sticker shock (can't remember the price, but it made me put it down).
If it's worth it, I have no issue picking it up, but I wanted to get some input from some guys before I do.
It has some great info on how most all depth's that a crank will run at!!
Just under $30.....do what I do and just borrow one and make up a cheatsheet! I have a spreadheet that lists the cranks that i normally run and at what depth...simple to do!!
The book is well worth it for all of the information, but if its just dive charts you want then make a photocopy or just a spreadsheet. I made photocopies and wrote down the depth/line length on most of my boxes so I seldom need to look at the book anymore. Be careful, crankbaits are an expensive addiction.

Well worth the money. It has many of the newer cranks in it. You can also buy updates for it for new cranks that come out in the future so you don't have to buy a whole new book. The new 8th edition runs about $50, but the pages are now waterproof again. If you got the pages wet on some of the earlier versions they would stick together and you couldn't get them apart. (These versions ran about $30).
