We have gone around to all of the houses for the most part and moved as much snow as we could away from them.  But there is alot of water out there and We Strongly suggest coming up and jacking your houses out of the water before it freezes.

Has the rain nocked down the snow pack so that you can get around better with a truck or are we still stuck to the roads?

Jason,

Could you please update us tonight after the guys come off the lake and maybe right away in the morning as well. Your reports are fantastic and greatly appreciated! There are all sorts of rumors floating around (no pun intended) regading depth of water on the ice  and general conditions conditions. I would imagine that as the water starts to filter back through the ice it may make the road conditions a little tricky! Thank you again for this incredible service you provide!yawn

We went through to all of the houses out here today.  the depth of water around the houses varies from hardly any up to 18 inches.  The roads and ice are still in good shape aside from there being a bit of water on them. Our concerns with the water at this time is that if it freezes again the houses will be froze in and a pain to get jacked up.  Again at this time there is no real urgent action that needs to be done, no houses are in jeopardy.

Yea a report from today would be nice? I am heading up around 5 tonight. Hopefully travel is okay on the lake and not a top thin layer of ice over deep water then more ice. Let us know.

With the colder temps and the guys out all week drilling holes so the water would drain the roads are starting to shape up and dry off. At this time we are still not letting people out to the flats due to the amount of water.  But we did get the majority of the stuff in closer drained and ready to go for the weekend.  But to anyone coming up be sure to stop in the resort to get the latest info.

Thanks Jason,

Is it even worth bring a 4 wheeler and portable up for running around or are we limited to the road system that has been drained?

It is understood that travel to the flats is not recommended.

Trying to figure out what to pack up for tomorrow.

I would deffinetly recommend to anybody bringing an ATV to bring a tow strap. Knee high water proof boots would not be a bad idea either. Just in case.
