first walk on the ice!!!!

Well, we walked out on the ice this morning for the first time in the harbor. right now the ice goes about 200 yards out. Both Isle and Wahkon Bays froze over last night, no-one has been out yet. But if the weather stays cold and the wind stays down it won't be long.

On friday we were able to get out about 40 FT from our place but the winds on Saturday took care for any solid ice we had, Mac bay froze on Friday.....might be out this weekend who knows.

That gets me pumped up. We are planning a trip with Tony on Dec. 19th. Looks like we are on track for that!

I haven't seen anyone out on Wahkon or Isle Bays yet, but there were people on Cove Bay yesterday.
