In case you haven't heard yet, we lost a tremendous spokesman for the outdoors and all that it brings us. Tony Dean passed away this last weekend at his home in Pierre SD. Tony produced and hosted Tony Dean Outdoors for the last 2 decades and was always willing to speak to any group about the importance of preserving our hunting and fishing heritage. He also was very active, in regards to protecting our natural habitats. His shows were mostly based in the Dakotas and Minnesota, I know he loved coming to Mille Lacs. He will be missed by many.
Tony was always way ahead of the curve in his leadership towards our conservation efforts. I just heard about his passing today because I was out of town pheasant hunting in N.D. last week-end, I would like to think that Tony would have approved. He has made such a huge impact on how everyone of us who loves the outdoors need to step-up and walk the walk and think about not only whats best for me, but what is best for the future of our great outdoors. He will be missed but remembered always, R.I.P. Tony.
