Ya, it was unreal. I have never seen anything like it. We had just landed and released a very nice muskie when they really hit. This is no exaggeration, I could not see my front running lights. My boat and truck are covered with the green slime that these bugs left behind. Every time I stepped in the boat it was like walking in guts. It will take me weeks to get the flies out of my defrosters in the truck from when we opened the doors to flee!!!!! And my boat.....covered with crud.....evileye.gif

I heard there was a big hatch Thursday night / Friday morning. I fished Saturday during the afternoon into the early evening and Sunday noon to 5 and they really were not a problem for me. Very few as a matter a fact. Very few fish also....hehe. It was a tough time to be out. I hear they are picking up fish on bobbers in that 9 to 11 evening.

We marked pockets of fish, but it was tough getting them to go.
