Yes I saw it and here is what you should know - Apparently channel 9 anchors can not do any math. The Ojibway spokes person stated that they are not really taking that many fish and including EVERY tribe members they are only taking 4lbs of fish per person (this does include tribal members in Wisconsin)
THERE ARE 5,167,101 people in the state on Minnesota alone so things being equal the residents take would be 20,668,404 lbs of fish - does that seem excessive.
We all get 449,000 lbs of fish - that means each resident gets 9/100 of a lb of fish - I wonder what that looks like on a plate next to 4lbs of fish - seems fair
I guess I'm not done venting - so here is some more I was thinking about last winters fishing and I figured I caught maybe Two Walleyes I had to put back - maybe 4 other walleyes and a small handfull of perch - lets call it 15lbs of fish. Why that is the fish intake for 166.67 residents of the state of Minnesota.
I am a good fisherman - maybe they should limit me some more - seems excessive, me taking all those peoples fish
