Can anyone tell me if we will need auger extensions this weekend?

I have not had to use one...you should ok.

I would guess the depth to be around 24 inches+-

Should be alright if your fishing on the ice or a portable.
another 1/2 of ice on leech last weekend and would have been tought with out one but I always use mine in my wheel house

you might need one in your fish house it was pretty close last weekend for me. outside i found a spot where it was getting pretty close to needing one. im going to bring mine with but im not putting it on until i know i will need it. you should be ok but i would bring it with just in case
