The road to the flats is closed to vehicles. It flooded, and needs to freeze up again before it re-opens. Shouldn't be a issue with the cold coming again.
A few of us are coming tomorrow morning. Is it advised to go "cross country" on ATV's if the road is closed to the flats? Or is the snow pack/slush still a little "iffy"?
ATV travel is tough going if you are towing something due to slush pockets and deep snow. We were able to make it to the Center Bar and fish last weekend though.
Roads to the flats are once again open. We had a few blow ups with the cold but have repaired and back at it. 3 mile, Blue jug and a road to the boot with access from there to fishers, gregs, no name.
