Our roads are once again open to all vehicle traffic. We will be attempting today our road to the flats. We hope to have that open for the weekend (stay tuned). The ice conditions are looking better so we hope to get back to some normalcy around here for January. The Jumbo perch are showing up with bigger walleyes as well. We have cooked up a few fish fries the last few days so like I said, normalcy is returning.
PLEASE KEEP YOUR SPEED ON THE LAKE VERY SLOW, 5-10MPH.
Our road system is pretty much full swing out as far as 2 mile. We are working on the road to the flats but the snow fall today slowed that process, we will be back at that tommorrow. As far as the wheelhouse situation, we have areas opened for them, it is still a situation of don't just go driving around out there, you will find trouble in a hurry. Just stop in and see me and let me in on your plan and we will work together to keep everyone in the good areas within the road system. You don't want to travel trucks off road just yet.
