We have pulled some privates out in the bay. We are plowing to clear the ice of the snow so the water that comes up freezes instead of making the mess with the slush. We are working on Copsville ,Slys, and Hunters Point right now. This is a long process clearing these areas and rough on the trucks. We will continue getting people out to these areas.
Our road continues to get wider and in better shape with the ice exposed. The flats I hear are real tough to get around on. The slush is terrible in areas (to many to mention)
We have fish being caught in the rentals we have out. One house last night got 3 eaters and a 27". We will advise you on areas to place your house. Some listen, some don't. The don'ts are dealing with lots of water now. We are doing the best we can, it's been a challenge.

We just got off of (I believe) Banana Point? today. We spent three days watching people try to work their way out to LakeSide and 2-Mile. There is so much slush that it's virtually impossible to go beyond the areas George and his crew have plow-prepped at least three days in advance. George.... we appreciated your efforts and fishing was slow. Thank you for the wonderful accomadations and people who aided us to our rental shack. Much appreciated.

Pappy,

Did John haul you in the back of the red Chev truck? If he did.....than I maybe saw you this noon!!! I passed you on a Polaris snowmoblie pulling a portable.

Just guessing biggrin.gif

Yea... that was me nearest you with a cold can in my hand. I thought you looked familiar as you passed us up! We had a blast but failed to really catch anything. 1 perch. We didn't stop in the lodge because my partners were in a hurry to get home. We'll catch you on the next trip up there in late January.

Man... the slush was ROUGH!

Pappy
