Newly added and updated weekly on Wednesdays is the all around Mille Lacs reports page. Reports from all sides of the lake. Check it out. Feel free to link to this report if you would like.
The "all around the lake ice & fishing report"" will be posted on this site weekly by Wednesday mornings. All the resorts are welcome to put this link up on their site too. We ask that others that copy and paste this report, would respectfully not put this report in other websites by taking any information out of the report or adding anything to the report. But this report will be originated here on George & Linda's site.
It was an idea that George and I had to better help promote the entire lake along with to be able to better inform everyone on the lakes conditions and fishing report at no costs to thr resorts. We are glad that everyone has had such a positive response to the report. A big thanks goes to Doug for his efforts in helping me with the design and page. Also I want to say thank you to all the participating resorts.
I wish everyone a very Safe & Happy Holiday Season along with a great ice fishing season!
Thanks for the change in format---it is much more printer friendly.....just wondering if you could set it up similar to Mapquest with a printer friendly format to avoid the logos of the resorts on a printed copy.....the logos look great on the site though....Thanks
Will you continue when perching is going on or will this report end at the end of the walleye season this weekend???
They are still driving out of Hunters north access...I say north as the main ramp is closed to the work that is being done on the ramp and harbor area!!! unless you need a quick car wash..................The lake is pretty good other than a few drifts!! the road plow banks are hard and tall....need to pick your spot to get off the road. Atv travel is ok! not much snow left on the lake.
I fished two times this past week with poor results...some have done real well, but not me! I've been busy with some other responsiblitys other than fishing lately.........I'll be ready for open water come May!!!!
I have not used an auger extension yet!!! the power head does get a tad bit low for this old boy!!! maybe around 36 inches of ice right now......
