I can't wate this is going to be my first hard water season on the big pond. I have fished it a few times in the past but this season I plan on keeping my house on the mille lacs rather than all of the long trips back to upper red. Any one have any places to get started fishing during the winter?smile

I'm almost ready....need to get my order from MarCum!! Some new stuff from Otter!!! A new auger from Strikemaster!!! And I'll be working the Ice fishing shows next month which will get me totally ready!!! If talking..... ice fishing for two days don't do it...nothing will

My boat harbor is iced over this early am.....we also have some snow coming down!!! If you look at the webcam...you can see the snow on the shoreline down by the dock at Hunters!!

BRING ON THE ICE FISHING SEASON!!!!!!!!

Francis,

Some of the products I use will get updated each season. Others might get used two or three seasons depending on its use. I use the equipment a bit more than the average fisherman! While guiding I try to use the latest and greatest that my sponsors have out. Allowing my cutomers to use the best equipment out at the time. So I upgrade!!!!!!

Good deal - I guess it will be just the nine of us ice fishing this year biggrin

Or maybe the other don't use a key board evileye

Thanks for lake update Bobber and keep us posted on water(ice) conditions

Regardless of DNR report I think it will be another good year - maybe those jumbo Perch will bight better this season

Keep the comments coming - I sure hope no one else decides to fish this year

I like being on the ice, looking around, and seeing no one

well Boy's it's offical, Nov 19 the boy's just taken the dock out NOW let the ice come. sad site to see the dock go , but it's a start of a new season .wink ( Ice Baby )

  We are ready too!  Well almost, sold the wheel-house and need to replace it with another permanent.  Then we wil be there.  Looking forward to some fun times and yes, I agree..... some JUMBOS would be nice!

  So add two more to the list.  Sharla and I are in.

i cant wait to get my line wet, and burn the carbon out of my sled. my new /older 15ft travel trailer fishouse, with new pink carpeting gets even the wifey exited about joining me for some on the frozen pond
