From what I have heard, they are starting to move into the shallows. With the upcoming forecast and temps in the 30's 40's at night it should kcik it up. I hear there are some nice perch being caught also. I haven't and won't get out for another week yet.
The walleye fishing should pick up with the changes on the calendar! We have the fall full moons, cooler temperatures all coming our way! These should all help the bite! You may be doing some catch and release with the current slot, but its a blast to catch 25+ fish while pulling crank baits in the shallows during the fall trolling periods! or while bobber fishing the shallow rock reefs during the daylight hours.
