Wanted to get this out and see if we can get some support for the resort. This is a great tool to reach all people associated with Hunter's Point. I hope everyone takes the time to read and respond accordingly.
George has run into a little bind with the county. It seems that some of the neighbors have a problem with the amount of houses and trailors. They claim the resort is dirty, loud, and has too much traffic. Many of them have written letters and attended board meetings trying to shut the resort down or at the very least shrink the number of people.
We now have over 100 members and if everyone who enjoys their time at Hunter's would take the time to write a letter of support, I think we could make a difference. Anyone who is available to attend a board meeting could help even more. We need to get the point across that the resort offers people quality family time and is well maintained. They also need to know that the number of people using the resort also supports the local economy.
With all of this being said, we also have to be aware of the right of the neighbors to enjoy their time up there also. Please be mindful of this and show repect and courtesy to all who enjoy heaven on earth at Lake Mille Lacs.
To all that are concerned about the survival of Nittis Hunters Point Resort:Here are some more addresses to send your letters to. They are all County Commissioners.

Hunters Point Resort is a home away from home for alot of people. Everyone that is at the resort and those that visit it enjoy themselves. The resort and surrounding grounds are always kept very clean anyone who says differently is very wrong. I have seen many of the nearby residents patronize the resort, so even they truly enjoy the resort. Please jump in with all of your support to keep Hunters Point Resort a part of our vacationing future.
Im with you all and my letter went out today. All i can say about this is i been up to hunters on fishing trips in the winter and summer and Gorge and his crew do a great job at keeping his place looking clean and orderly. The few that dont like it..just take away from people like myself the injoy of getting away from home. All i can say is best of luck and im behind your fight .
It is so wonderful that there are still people in this world that really care. George and Linda and everyone at Hunters Point have put there blood, sweat and tears into making Hunters the place it is today!! Why anyone would ever want to shut us down is beyond me, there are plenty of other issues in this world that could use there energy/fight and ruining someones life and business is not one of them! Especially a business geared towards giving families the kind of life to live they can be proud of especially families with children who want there children to grow up in a good atmosphere, with good values!! Hunters is one of the places where you can bring your families and not have to worry about kidnappers (everyone looks out for everyone), gangs and shootings. Take away these few good places left in Minnesota and the future generations will have nothing to do in there spare time besides drugs, gangs and down right trouble!! Thanks you all for your support and letters!! You have no idea what this means to our family.
