Maybe some of you have already seen this but some things over there look awfully similar.  For what it's worth.

BTW, I'm a "newbie" and this is my first post.  So if I've mucked anything, cut me off. confuse

the walleye debacle at mille lacs is starting to remind me of other things ran by the government, ie,lets take more out of the pot than whats being put into the pot. I am honestly starting to think that they(government) is trying to see how many lies they can tell and see if any ones listening, when they figure out that every one has gotten sick of them and gave up fighting against them, then they can take absolute control and no one will know which way is up other than what they tell you,and yes I know this has been going on for years.
another worry I have is that they( again the government) is testing the waters so to speak,to see if shutting down fishing across the entire spectrum, and only allowing you to keep one fish per day period, and you have to eat that fish, even if you are fishing for walleye and catch a carp, thats your fish for that day,and you are done, already happening in the uk.
even worse yet,the money lost by the resort owners will be subsidized by us the WORKING tax payers so they dont go under and lose everything,in a sense what I am trying to say is they want to spread the wealth, why dont they call what it is,socialism!!

I am a fairly new member myself, but I have God given common sense, and am not afraid to call a spade a spade.
one last note,I have fished for walleyes for over thirty years, here in Iowa,we have water temps that can reach 80 degrees, and we dont have mass walleye die offs due to this, and,I have used minnows, leeches, nightcrawlers, and shiners for walleye bait,I was not aware that the tulibe was the only thing walleyes eat, have I been throwing the wrong baits all these years??????
