I recently guided NFL Cardinals defensive back Tony Mayes from West Virginia. Tony paid $5,000 for his family's airfare. I asked Tony how in the hell he found me way down in West Virginia. He looked at me and said he wanted to fish with the best muskie guide on the planet, researched the web, and said "I found him." Wow, Tony, that is the nicest compliment I have received in 19 years of guiding.... Thank you for saying that to me. A week later I was called a puke and the most hated man in the muskie world by a PMT tournament fisherman. Joe Fellegy guided 30 years on Mille Lacs Lake and told me that you want people to say bad things. That means your catching fish! Love me or hate me, I am having a blast!
