Memorial weekend fishing

I got out a few times over the weekend with the near perfect weather. (could have used a lil bit more wind)

Fished mostly rocks with leech under a bobber in 10 - 14 ft. Water temp was 54 Saturday morning and 59 by the time I came off the water Sunday afternoon. Not a ton of success, but we did manage a few fish. Best bite was at sundown. Was great to just be out on the water with no bugs, good sun and good company.

We had marginal success this weekend, too. The highlight of the weekend was the 5 year old bringing in her first keeper fish of the year Saturday evening. We all laughed at how big an 18 1/4" fish looks in her hands.
