The reports around the resort are bigger fish being caught on leadcore. Fisherman are trolling leadcore out in the deep areas on the mud. Those that are having some luck trolling the leadcore setup are pulling Rapala shad raps and Salmo hornets. Look for the fish to be found off the flats and or along the deep breaks on the flats. The past week the water temperature has dropped some with the cooler over nite temperatures. You can feel a touch of fall in the air! can't believe I wrote that....with that thought make your plans now for the fall trolling bite during the full moon.
The smallmouth are a great option currently. Reports are that the fish are a little deeper than normal. Anchor up and catch them under a bobber tipped with a leech or worm.
