6-30-13 Fishing Report

My first day of vacation will be a rememberable one. We fished midday yesterday drifting leeches from 9:30 - 2pm. We boated 20 fish with 2 box fish (19,19.75) the 19 was the smallest fish on this trip. most where in the 22-25 range. We had our best bite in 27-30 ft. The water temp at 67. I will try and post tid bits thru out the week going into the big 4th weekend.

Oh and I know you all love the Larry the Cable Guy shirt.

Yesterday 7/1 we fished midday again 1-3 and ended with 10 fish drifting leeches. Last night bobber bite we boated another 16. Managed 3 keeper fish out of the 26 for the day. The key is to find the fish on the graph and its go time.

Nice bunch of fish and good steady action it looks like.

I had good luck drifting leeches in 6Pm - 8PM timeframes on gravel bars.

But that is an excellent report and catch !

MM says good job. biggrinbiggrinbiggrin

Really hard sitting in a office surrounded by buildings looking at this. But I can't look away. Thanks for the updates Doug.
Any bug hatches?

Yes, the slot fish are much harder to find, but you seem to have had a great day on the lake.

Keep outta trouble until I can come home again. wink

They do know how to catch and handle the fish once they hook up with them. Its always a pleasure to have them in the boat.
