Results from the MTT at Mille Lacs this weekend

After looking at the results of these two days of fishing and seeing the low total winning weights because of the slot, I think Mille Lacs really needs a CPR (Catch Photo Release) tournament format.

I know the logistics of running such a tourney requires more effort but with all the 20 something inch fish in the lake, it would surely make for a more interesting tournament for the competitors I would think.....

Some impressive catches for being a nasty cold front conditions. Peeked out the window at 6am Sunday morn and rolled right back in bed.

Those weights are only because of the slot, the average for fish caught is much higher.

Sunday was nasty......fell two times in the boat. One drift sock in the motor....but we caught a bunch of fish! only 15 inchers for our keepers?? Just could not get mid to upper 16's for the live well! Had a big 27+ fish that we thought was it! but not...

oh well, do it again in two weeks!
