12/30/11 Fishing reports around the lake are good. Here in our bay, folks are catching perch, walleye and northerns. Some guys have been hitting it every day and seeing nice results.

Our quirky ice conditions continue, but the ice in the bay is good. We are still restricting fishing to within our bay (including Road A), where we have about 12” of ice. We won't be allowing driving for the New Year's weekend. Without any snow on the ice and with a few 7" spots past Hawkbill, we're not ready to have folks driving without plowed roads to guide them.

Four wheeler traffic is just fine; you can unload in the parking lot and head out. If you can pull out your wheeled house with a four wheeler, that'll work, too.

We have some small day houses and 6 & 8 hole sleeper rental houuses out there. We have openings for this weekend and can transport you in and out, so come on up!

1/6/12 Same good ice, driving small vehicles in the bay and to Roads A & B. Four wheelers still ok to travel beyond Hawkbill.

1-16-12

Great fishing reports over the weekend! Several bigger walleyes reported again, 24"-29". Driving went well and we can now allow public drive on access, Rentals were full, everyone had fun and most are back to work today. Roads are out to the reefs off Hawkbill (E, F, and I). Many openings for rentals for the next two weeks, so share the news that ice is good and fishing is great, so head up to Mac's and have a beer at Buzzie's!!

1/26/12 Ice is looking great. 18-20" all over on our road system. Looking for another great weekend of fishing! We have seen many nice perch and trophy walleyes this season! We have deluxe fish house rentals of all sizes (6, 8, 10, and 14 hole) open for this weekend. Roads are now open out to the gravel and we are driving everywhere.
