I lost a huge muskie on the Boot flat on a 5 diamonds Jr Husky Tuesday. I couldn't reel as she was taking a very tight drag and spooled me. Fought her for a good five minutes. She let go next to the boat but, I never saw her. I trolled 8 hours and it was the only hit I had.

any ideas were we should be fishing this weekend? deep, shallow, flats, rocks? any weeds left? any one catching any muskies?

Rocks. Fish big pull-pause baits, obscene bright colors, or white\cisco.

Assuming my truck is fixed today, I will be up. Putting in at Terry's if that gives you any indication of where I will be fishing.

it sucks was up today seen one all day out on three mile came in on a dog ball hit that spot 4 times abought every 1/2 hour never seen it again nice fish 52 53 any way got home put the boat away for the year time to do some bird hunting my dogs are giving me dirty looks when i go fishing time to get some birds
