Everybody beware! There's a big hatch coming real soon. (I'm psyckic that way)
Early indications are that they're going to be fish flies (the big ones) of the pesky variety. Good luck and fix those screens.
Summer ain't done yet................
We oughta start a board for the exact date & time.

I'm gonna say Tuesday night at 9:00pm.ignore.gif

Thanks Jon, Howdy to you and the Bobber, our Governor Man!

Oh Boy... the warmer temps make it happen I guees?!
It is time to have the power washer ready to go and spray the dang bugs off of the Malmo Bay houses.
I will warn my brothers on your worthy Bug Prediction.
We will be ready for the dang critters -- if they hatch according to your crystal ball on the Launch.
Malmo Mike was here. biggrin

(I saw the bug hatches on my Lowrance crystal ball last night. BLACKOUT from North Three Mile all the way to the gravel bars.)

any bugs yet? I am planning a 3 day fishing trip for this weekend. Any thoughts on the fishing or input on what I can do to catch a few.

I've been having the best luck right outside of the hatch. The baitfish follow the hatch and the walleyes follow their food source.
I don't get the bites in the hatch itself. They can't see my presentation and I'm sure it looks like a needle in a haystack, even for the eagle-eyed walleyes.

It's been really windy up here, so maybe the bigger part of the hatch will get drowned as they hatch. That's happened to a couple of hatches already this year, with all the rain and wind we've had.

Big winds in this weekends forecast. That's a stretch to be looking at the winds four days out but thats the forecast.

Good report on the hatch Jon...and how to fish it.
Thanks mucho.
I need to get you another cold one soon -- when you are not running
the Pride of Mille Lacs  of course. Wish I was there now.
It is Thirsty Friday and I am at work.
Governor Ritter (of Colorado) says hello to Bobber.
Lance Armstrong was here last week and I met him.  He is back home in Aspen now.
Malmo Mike was here.
biggrin

Hey, Mike, You need to come back here. We figured out who is a perfect candidate for Lieutenant Governor to run with the Bobber. Me and Doug nominated Ralph Sandberg! Now all we got to do is figure out the rest of THE party ticket. We're thinkin' maybe gettin' you to run for Senator, but nobody thinks that you really exist, which makes you a perfect candidate. But you have to come back for some pictures for the commercials.
(I think all the other offices we can just make up some names and people will vote for 'em, cuz nobody ever sees 'em anyways).

Howdy Jon,
You do crack me up!
You are right -- I need to come back there. Mostly to have a cold one with you and Bobber before his campaign. I hope I can come back yet this fall.  I will ask the Mermaid Princess (my wife Kathy) if she wants to fish for TREX with us.
Take care, Malmo Mike Mystery Man.
no
