Jigging Spoon Selection for 2010
Permalink

Last year, for me, it was tough to beat the Northland Buckshot rattle spoon in orange glow or JR's Tackle's 1/8 oz Shiner Spoon in Perch Glow for some nice perch and a few walleye here and there.

What is everyone going to try this winter?  What worked last year?  Nothland's Macho Minnow doesn't look to bad with that tail on the split ring by the hook...

Luhr Jensen Crippled Herring, Salmo chubby Darter, Techni-Glo Frosty Jigging Spoon, Rapala Jigging Shad Rap should do nicely this winter!

I got to get going on this. Hard to get into the mood with it in the 50's.

Gregg,

That orange glow Buckshot has been good for me the last few years also!

I'm planning on giving the new Lindy Darter's a serious try this ice season! They have a rattle that I think will really trigger the bite of ol'marble eye's! If you have not check any of these Darters out you really need to!
