a guy from work was up to virmilion for a week him and his son caught 17 3 over 50 they had a great time wish i would have gone with

I hear nothing about muskies anywhere. sounds like that guy did pretty well musky hunter.
right place right time i guess, thats fishing.

yea thats the truth the last musky i put in the boat was 10/27/06 that was a 50" my bigest so far ive seen alot of fish but im never in the right place when there hitting but thats why its called fishing

Yes it it it was my first 50 i have a reproduction hanging on the wall caught it oct 27 of 06 that was also the last musky i caught i have seen alot of fish just never in the right place at the right time i am heading up to vermilion the first of the month vermilion dam lodge is having a musky weekend looks like it should be a good time and a chance to learn the lake better any way are they doing any thing on the pond i just got my trolling motor back and i have to try it out so i heading up there this weekend

Sounds like the musky fishing is quite slow. Not much for catching to report. I am heading up there this weekend as well and will let you know if we have any luck.

muskies have been pretty slow from what i hear. that could and i bet will change in coming weeks, even days. don't ask me why i think that because i dont know. lol

Muskie fishing was slow this last weekend. There were three boats in our group and we only saw a couple of follows all together. Fished everything possible from weeds, sand, rocks, and open water trolling. Did see a lot of bait fish, so there really isn't much need for the fish to feed on our baits. Hopefully that will change in next couple of weeks.
