Bobber Report 8/19/12

Did some corking in the 2 mile and Flamingo area on Sunday day and into the evening. We caught a few smallies during the afternoon and did get a few smaller walleyes after 6pm. These fish where all under 15" with most in the 4"-12" range. Month of June and first few weeks of July we couldn't get a fish under 20" now its the complete opposite when bobber fishing. The MTT had most teams bringing in 15 and 16" fish but from the sounds of it they all really worked their tails off to get them. 3 over 28 fish came in. Most of these guys where pulling leadcore.

Weather was nice and I would assume the colder evenings will drop the water temp bringing these fish back into the inner structures soon. It sure was nice to get out their and am planning some good boat time in the near future. Good luck to everyone getting out their!!
