What type of lead core are you using? Every lead core line I find has colors every 10 yards, unless I am looking at it incorrectly. From what I get from video, you have different color every 10 feet.

I don't remember exactly what Brad said in the video, but its a different color every 10 yards/30 feet.

All lead core is 30ft per segment or ten yards, In the video 4-5ft down per color or segment of lead core + lure, not # of feet of line out. Hope that helps smile

Thats a good idea Brad on writing the list of color segments down. Visual reminder of how far back you are.
